What Happens During a DMK Appointment?
The masque stage may take approximately 45 minutes; this is not the total appointment time. Your therapist will explain your individual treatment plan, expected sensations and any aftercare recommendations. Please let us know if you experience discomfort.
Prepare. Cleansing and preparation are selected according to your skin.
Apply. The enzyme masque is applied and left to set while your therapist monitors your comfort.
Finish. The masque is removed, followed by selected finishing products and personalised aftercare advice.
Understanding the Plasmatic Effect
Following Enzyme Therapy, some clients may notice a temporary branching or flushed appearance on the skin. DMK refers to this as the plasmatic effect.
This response is not experienced by everyone, and its appearance does not measure or guarantee treatment results. Your therapist will assess your skin and explain appropriate aftercare. If redness or discomfort persists, seek professional advice.

A manageable daily skincare routine can help complement your professional treatment. Your therapist may discuss cleansing, hydration, targeted products and sun protection, based on your skin’s needs.

Actrol Powder. A lightweight finishing powder designed to absorb excess surface oil and reduce shine, particularly for oily or blemish-prone skin.
